Joey Kramer has teamed up with Celebrities for Charity Foundation to conduct an online raffle to benefit Health and Education Services (HES) to assist children suffering from addiction, physical abuse and depression.
“The magnitude of the problems so many people face with drug and alcohol addiction, domestic violence and depression have impacted so many lives,” said Kramer. “I have a deep history fighting my own personal battles with these issues. I am among the fortunate who, with the gift of help and a network of support have been able to find my way to a healthy, productive life – a life that provides me with many gifts, especially the ability to be of service. HES is providing critically needed support to thousands of people – families – kids in trouble, in pain and in need here in our Greater Boston community. The costs for help are great. The costs of not helping are far greater.”
To kick it off, a special all-expenses paid trip for two to England to watch Aerosmith perform and visit backstage is being raffled off.
The lucky winner and a guest will see Aerosmith perform as Joey's guests at Download Festival on June 13th in Donnington Park, England and then again two days later as the band performs in London at the O2 Arena. The winner will also receive $2,000 in travel allowance, $1,000 in meals and expenses and hotel accommodations.
